SUMMARY:Kalinga Global Film Festival\, In Association with (FFSI)
DESCRIPTION:Aim & ScopeThe fourth edition of the The Kalinga International Film Festival will now be known as Kalinga Global Film Festival (KGFF). \nThe objective of this film festival is to encourage and ignite young minds\, enrich intellectually inclined cineastes and promote aspiring film makers. KGFF intends to organise a festival that would connect regular movie goers\, budding filmmakers and the movie buffs with the distinguished film makers so as to bring about greater understanding of the art and craft of film making. \nThe fourth edition of the festival will be held from January 18 to 22\, 2020 at KIIT deemed to be University\, Odisha. The competition is open to films produced by the students/individuals between 1stNovember 2018 and 30thNovember 2019 with a maximum running time of 30 minutes. There is no fee for submission of the entries. \nEach submission must include a signed entry form.Eligibility : \nThe programme of the festival is broadly divided into the following category. \n1.1 Student Films/Films of independent film-maker (Competitive Section) \n1.2 Asian Window (A package of Asian Films) \n1.3 Country Focus (South Korea) \nKGFF is a juried competition open to any independent or student filmmaker worldwide.Works will be considered for competition only if they are within the running time of 30 minutes and were completed after 1stNovember\, 2018 and before 30thNovember 2019. \nAll qualified entries must have been independently produced and financed. Film Production farm\, major film studio or television network are not eligible for competition. The festival committee reserves the rights to determine the eligibility of any film. \nThe Jury can evolve their own rules for assessment of the entries. \nSubmission \nFilms can be submitted to KGFFvia the festival we transfer link or by providing a private downloadable link from a secured server. Film makers can also send their films directly to the given office address by courier or submit by hand. \nNB: We do not accept YouTube link as screener copy for consideration. Any submitted film that is currently uploaded in Youtube or any other social platforms will be directly disqualified. \nTo submit your film and /or any required materials via online file transfer\, we provide a We transfer link. Follow the on screen instruction for the file transfer. After successful submission you receive a conformation mail. Upload the scanned copy of the completely filled in entry form as well. Multiple submissions by the same director and production team are accepted but each film must be accompanied by a separate entry form. Unsigned entry forms will be rejected. \nTo submit your film via a private( secure and downloadable )online link provide a secure online link in the entry form. All appropriate passwords must be included on the entry form.Online link submission and entry forms should be mail to submission@kgff.in. \nThe entry of films must include the followings: \n\nFilm description ( less than 50 words)\nComplete production credits\nFilm synopsis ( within 100 words )\nDirector’s note\nDirector’s Bio data\nDirector’s Photograph (2 photographs\, 200 dpi each)\nDetail list of previous screening of the submitted film\nof Film stills (200 dpi max)\n\nSend all the above mentioned documents to submission@kgff.in \nImportant Dates\nAll submitted promotional materials become the property of the Kalinga Global Film Festival and its presenting organisation. These materials can not be returned. By submitting these materials and signing the release form\, you acknowledge  that KGFF has the rights to use  any material for non-commercial purpose. \nDeadline of Submission \nThe entry deadline is 10th January 2020 \nApplicants will be notified of this status after screening committee viewing. \n  \nAwards \nAll awards will be presented at the closing ceremony of the festival.
