DESCRIPTION:About the Event \nKIIT Deemed to be University is set to host the prestigious FIVB Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge 2026 from 4th to 8th March 2026 at the KIIT–KISS Athletics Stadium\, Bhubaneswar. \nThis internationally sanctioned championship\, organised under the aegis of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) and Volleyball World\, will bring together elite beach volleyball athletes from across the globe. Notably\, this will be the first time in India that a Beach Volleyball World Championship is being hosted inside a university campus. \nThe event marks a significant milestone in India’s growing presence in international sports and reinforces KIIT’s commitment to promoting world-class sporting excellence. \nEvent Highlights \n\nParticipation from 52 Countries\n82 International Teams\n164 Elite Athletes\nOver 306 Accredited Participants\nOlympic Gold Medallists in action\nGlobal live broadcast via Volleyball World TV\nInternational referees and FIVB officials in attendance\n\nCompetition Format \nThe championship will be conducted in multiple stages: \n\nQualification Tournament\nMain Draw – Pool Play\nRound of 16\nQuarter Finals\nSemi Finals\nBronze Medal Matches\nGold Medal Finals & Award Ceremony\nThe Finals will be held on 8 March 2026.

SUMMARY:34th Mathematics Training & Talent Search (Levels O\, I\, II) Camp
DESCRIPTION:The Mathematics Training and Talent Search (MTTS) programme is one of the most popular and significant summer training programme which is usually conducted at regional level across the country. From May 18 to June 13\, 2026\, the main camp of MTTS will be organized at our university. During this 28-day programme\, 130 (one hundred thirty)undergraduate and postgraduate students will be trained by 12 (twelve) resource persons and 8 (eight) mentors from reputed HEIs across India associated with KIIT Deemed to be University\, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Abhijit Sutradhar and Dr. Manas Ranjan Mohapatra will coordinate this event supported by Prof. Mrutyunjay Das\, Associate Dean of Dept. of Mathematics and Prof. Prasanta Rath\, Dean of School of Applied Sciences patronized by Honorable Founder Sir Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta\, esteemed Vice Chancellor Prof. Sharanjit Singh\, and respected Registrar Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty.
