SUMMARY:16th National Marketing Konclave Marketing Multiverse: Tech\, Truth\, and the Future of Brands
DESCRIPTION:Introduction\n\nThe 16th National Marketing Conclave\, hosted by the KIT School of Management (KSOM)\, arrives at a pivotal moment for the marketing profession. As artificial intelligence reshapes operations and society demands ethical\, sustainable\, and inclusive practices\, marketers face a complex new reality. The conclave’s theme\, Marketing Multiverse: Tech\, Truth\, and the Future of Brands\, captures the challenge of mastering both technological innovation and human connection.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe transformation is profound. A 2025 PwC report shows 78% of Chief Marketing Officers plan to integrate generative Al into their business models. HubSpot’s State of Marketing Report 2025 reveals that 92% of marketers already feel Al’s impact\, citing efficiency and campaign effectiveness. Meanwhile\, DataReportal reports that global social media users reached 5.31 billion in April 2025\, nearly 65% of the world’s population. \nYet this Al-driven landscape exposes a paradox. Technology offers scale and personalization but cannot create trust-the foundation of loyalty. Edelman’s 2025 survey highlights that 81% of consumers view trust as central to purchase decisions. Algorithms may generate content\, but irony\, cultural nuance\, and lived experiences remain uniquely human\, underscoring the marketer’s task of blending automation with authenticity. \nTo address this intersection of technology and truth\, the conclave will host 15 workshops across three tracks: \n\nSustainable Development Goals and Responsible Branding: Exploring consumer demand for ethical practices\, with Nielsen reporting 66% of global shoppers willing to pay more for sustainable brands.\nPractice-Oriented Skills for Emerging Marketers: Covering vertical video storytelling\, brand community-building on platforms like Reddit and Discord\, and the craft of micro-content creation.\nCutting-Edge Academic Insights: Presenting research on consumer psychology\, behavioral science-driven pricing\, and cognitive biases shaping brand perception.\n\nToday’s consumers are not passive recipients but active co-creators. Peer review platforms and social media feedback loops have created a transparent ecosystem where brands are constantly evaluated. \nThe traditional funnel is replaced by fragmented\, multi-touchpoint journeys that demand holistic strategies combining empathy\, data analytics\, and ethics. \nThe modern marketer’s role now extends beyond creativity and strategy to require data fluency\, agility\, and moral clarity. The 16th National Marketing Conclave is designed to nurture this integrated mindset. \nBy convening leaders\, practitioners\, and academics\, it seeks to inspire marketers to not only adapt to change but to lead it with purpose. In doing so\, marketing can evolve into a discipline that is intelligent and immersive\, yet also inclusive\, intentional\, and impactful. \n\n\n\nPosterBrochure

SUMMARY:6th National Rural Management Conclave
DESCRIPTION:Context\nOver the years\, various development strategies and programs have been playing a crucial role in transforming the lives and livelihoods of rural communities in India. However\, a noticeable socioeconomic gap persists between rural and urban population. Rural development interventions often face hurdles in terms of adapting technologies\, lack of effective collaborations\, uncertainty\, risk and limited institutional support. Challenges of aligning skills with emerging market demands\, and ensuring cost-effective livelihood solutions remain inadequately addressed. Moreover\, managing rural development today requires an integrated approach in critical areas such as livelihood\, education\, healthcare\, biodiversity & environmental sustainability\, climate change\, disaster risk reduction\, skill development\, and access to finance. \nObjective\nKIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM)\, KIIT University is one of the pioneer Rural Management schools in India. It grooms rural development professionals through its flagship programs\, i.e. MBA in Rural Management and MBA in Agri-Business Management. KSRM has been organising annual national level Rural Management Conclaves since 2019. The overall objective of the conclave is to bring the leaders from development and business sectors to a common platform and discourse on various challenges and way forward. This year\, the following two themes are identified for dialogue: ‘Innovations\, technology adaptations\, risk management and accountability in sustainable development Initiatives’; and ‘Human resources (HR) in effective corporate social responsibility (CSR) and rural transformation’. \n Download Brochure Register now for quizwizPoster

SUMMARY:KSOM Finance Conclave 2025
DESCRIPTION:Building a Resilient Financial Ecosystem for Viksit Bharat @2047\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs India moves toward the milestone of Viksit Bharat @2047\, our financial system must not only scale—it must evolve. For industry leaders\, this is a pivotal moment. The task at hand is not just about adapting to change\, but actively shaping the architecture of a resilient\, inclusive\, and future-ready financial ecosystem. Resilience today is multi-dimensional. \nIt includes the ability to not only absorb shocks — economic\, geopolitical\, or environmental\, but also to pivot swiftly in response to technological disruption\, changing customer expectations\, and regulatory transitions. From credit delivery to capital markets\, from digital payments to green finance\, every node of the financial value chain must be reimagined with agility and trust at its core. \nFor those at the helm of financial institutions\, fintech ventures\, and corporates\, the responsibility is twofold: to drive innovation and to ensure that this innovation translates into meaningful impact across segments. Whether it’s democratizing credit for MSMEs\, enhancing access for underserved communities\, or ensuring ESG goals are embedded in financial decision-making—your leadership will define the direction we take. This transformation demands collaboration—between regulators and innovators\, policymakers and practitioners\, academia and industry. It calls for expanding financial literacy\, strengthening digital infrastructure\, and fostering trust in institutions. It means ensuring that small businesses\, women entrepreneurs\, and marginal farmers are not just included in the financial narrative but are empowered through it. However\, the transformation cannot be left to policy alone. It requires industry stewardship—bold thinking backed by ethical grounding\, competitive excellence paired with collaborative intent. India’s vast and diverse landscape demands models that are scalable yet sensitive to local realities. \nThis conclave offers a platform to reflect on this shared responsibility. It is an invitation to discuss and co-create solutions that are not only commercially sustainable but also nationally significant. Together\, we have the opportunity to turn the vision of Viksit Bharat into a lived reality—where finance empowers lives\, enables growth\, and endures the tests of time.

SUMMARY:Arsenic in the Environment Arsenic and other Pollutants\, Water Security and One Health under Global Climate Change Scenario
DESCRIPTION:About the CongressArsenic and other co-occurring pollutants in the environment have been an issue of major concern in the last decades because of the serious impact on human health coming from drinking water and certain foods with low-medium levels of pollutants for prolonged periods. Globally\, more than 100 million people are at risk. Since 2006\, eight events of the International Congress on “Arsenic in the Environment” have been held in different areas of the world: Mexico 2006\, Spain 2008\, Taiwan 2010\, Australia 2012\, Argentina 2014\, Sweden 2016\, China 2018\, and The Netherlands 2021. \nArsenic and co-occurring pollutants in drinking water (mainly groundwater) have emerged as a global health concern. Over the past three decades\, India has been at the forefront of research on arsenic biogeochemical cycling\, health effects\, technologies for arsenic removal\, and sustainable mitigation measures. However\, research on other pollutants\, like different organic and inorganic contaminants\, trace elements\, bio-medical pollutants\, micro/nano-plastics\, etc.\, has been explored extensively in the Indian subcontinent and South Asia as well. During the last decade\, the presence of arsenic and other pollutants in edible items\, possibly also other food of plant origins\, has attained increasing attention. This is particularly true in several other South and Southeast Asian countries\, to ensure food safety and avoid further health hazards from consuming food that has been contaminated\, it is essential to comprehend these agricultural penalties. \nWith a global perspective\, the 9th International Congress & Exhibition on Arsenic in the Environment will take place at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in the city of Bhubaneswar\, Odisha\, India\, from 20th – 24th  October 2024. Known as As2024\, the Congress will be themed “Arsenic and Other Pollutants\, Water Security and One Health under Global Climate Change Scenario” and endorsed by the Executive Board of the International Society of Groundwater for Sustainable Development\, Sweden. \nTheme of the CongressCongress and Exhibition is Arsenic and Other Pollutants\, Water Security and One Health under Global Climate Change Scenario (As2024)\, and will include the following themes: \nTheme 1: Arsenic in natural environment \nTheme 2: Arsenic in food and agricultural ecosystem \nTheme 3: Health perspectives of environmental arsenic \nTheme 4: Advancements in clean water technologies for arsenic removal and immobilization \nTheme 5: Sustainable mitigation and management \n\nSpecial Sessions\nIn addition to these five themes\, we will include 5 Special Sessions which will covers the legacy (trace elements\, organic and inorganic pollutants\, etc.) and emerging contaminants (micro/nano-plastics\, per- and polyfluorinated substances\, endocrine disrupting chemicals\, pharmaceuticals\, etc.) but is not limited to the following topics: \nSession 1: Source and distribution of pollutants in different natural settings \nSession 2: Advancements in clean water technologies for pollutant removal and immobilization \nSession 3: Pollutants in dietary systems and health perspectives \nSession 4: Policies and sustainable management of pollutants \nSession 5: Sensors\, innovation\, technologies\, and artificial intelligence for pollution monitoring and management

As acclaimed futurist Alvin Toffler aptly stated\, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write\, but those who cannot learn\, unlearn\, and relearn.” Embracing this ethos\, the future of finance must embrace a culture of constant adaptation and innovation\, leveraging disruptive technologies to navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving global economy. At the heart of this transformation lies the ubiquitous influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. With the ability to process vast troves of data at unprecedented speeds\, AI holds the promise of revolutionizing every facet of financial services\, from risk assessment and portfolio management to fraud detection and customer service. In the age of AI\, the most important skill is going to be the ability to learn new things continuously. Moreover\, blockchain technology emerges as a transformative force\, offering decentralized solutions to age-old trust and transparency challenges in financial transactions.Furthermore\, the proliferation of FinTech Start-ups and digital platforms democratizes access to financial services\, empowering individuals and businesses alike to transcend traditional barriers.Fintech has the potential to make financial services more affordable\, more accessible\, and more inclusive. In this dynamic landscape\, the future of finance belongs to those who dare to challenge convention\, embrace innovation\, and harness the transformative power of disruptive technology. As Charles Darwin famously observed- \n“It is not the strongest of the species that survives\, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” \nThus\, as we stand on the cusp of a new era\, let us embark on this journey with courage\, curiosity\, and conviction\, forging a future of finance that is as bold and boundless as the imagination itself. \nUnder this background\, the 15thFinance Conclave focuses on- the Future of Finance\, as we explore the opportunities\, challenges\, and innovations shaping the financial landscape for tomorrow.
