In its sixth edition\, KIIT Deemed to be University will be hosting the KIIT International Model UN Conference from 28th to 30th of September\, 2018. A panel of distinguished guest speakers and some eminent personalities will be joining almost 1\,900 students from across the world to discuss and deliberate on some critical global issues which affect millions of civilians. The United Nations is a platform which gives a voice to each and every individual around the world and brings us in a state of truce from the war our hands have been bloodied of. The sole motive of the organisation is to bring about solutions to the events that cause global concerns. After nearly 70 years of its establishment\, the United Nations has reached to a standstill where the world has started to question its efficiency and its inability to bring the world together as it aimed to do. KIIT International Model UN is an effort to inform and aware the youth of the actions by the United Nations and the International community by simulating the working of different bodies that function under the UN and on a global scale. We strive to deliver a platform that will bring about a revolution in the Model UN sphere\, so that it becomes the axis and plays the pivotal role which contains the capacity to unleash something big – a change for the betterment of the humanity unfettered by disturbances – for the people\, by the people.

This is the 11 th workshop of the series. The main goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry. The workshop mainly includes invited lectures on recent advances in software testing both from industry and academia. The invited lectures will mainly cover the following areas: MC/DC testing\, concolic testing\, model based testing\, object-oriented testing strategies\, regression testing\, test case optimization and prioritization\, testing of web\, SOA and cloud based applications. The invited talks will be delivered by experts from IITs\, ISIs\, faculty members of NIT\, Rourkela\, experts from other sister NITs\, KIIT & other reputed institutes and experts from industry. For the first time the workshop is introducing two new events named: Innovative Project Ideation and Panel Discussion. The main objective of these two new tracks is to align the software testing platform with the current changes in the industry. Distribution system locates the end of power system and is connected to the customer directly\, so the power quality mainly depends on distribution system. The reason behind this is that the electrical distribution network failures account for about 90% of the average customer interruptions. The Quality of power is not available in customer site due to non linear load. In the earlier days\, the major focus for power system reliability was on generation and transmission only as these more capital cost is involved in these. In addition\, their insufficiency can cause widespread catastrophic  consequences for both society and its environment. But now a day‘s distribution systems have begun to receive more attention for reliability & quality assessment. Initially for the improvement of power quality or reliability of the system FACTS devices. The absence of a well developed corporate bond market has further exacerbated the situation constraining the credit availability for the corporates and large infrastructure projects adversely affecting the growth of the country. At the other end of the spectrum the MSME and agricultural sector despite being considered as priority sector continues to largely depend upon informal lenders with high borrowing cost.
