DESCRIPTION:The “Kalinga International Film Festival”\, boasts of a unique status of being the only such festival being organized in the state of Odisha. \nDrawing inspiration from the Cannes International Film Festival\, the showcase of KIFF is the screening of various award winning and critically acclaimed movies from nationally and internationally renowned directors. \nThe base objective behind organizing the 3rd iteration of KIFF is to not only promote cinema as a means of entertainment\, but also to educate the masses regarding the intricacies involved in the art of film making. With a number of attractive events including theatre competition\, online short film competition etc\, KIFF offers an attractive platform for participants to showcase their talents in the fields of direction\, screen play\, cinematography\, acting etc. Along with this\, a multitude of workshops\, in the fields of photography and cinematography\, that will be organized over the course of the festival provide a magnificent opportunity to learn various tips and tricks of the trade. Along with this\, the main attractions of are a chance to meet stars and other influential and recognized personalities from the film fraternity and interact with them\, plus a DJ night on the penultimate day of the event. KIFF has all the right ingredients to be an educational and fun-filled carnival.
