DESCRIPTION:Aim of the Webinar \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe aim of this webinar is to exchange the recent developments in Number Theory between the eminent scientists and researchers/ students. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was started as a humble college in 1992\, has become a multidisciplinary University with 28 constituent schools offering diverse programs. Its commitment to teaching excellence led to the grant of University status under section 3 of UGC Act\, 1956 in 2004 and ‘A’ category university in 2015 by the ministry of Human Resources Development \, Government of India. It has also been accredited ‘A’ Grade by NAAC and Tier ‘1’ (Washington Accord) by NBA and IET (UK). KIIT has been listed in Times of World ranking and is one among the best Universities/Institutions in NIRF ranking by MHRD\, Government of India. It has proved itself to be the much sought after higher education center of the country with 30\,000 students pursuing both graduation and post graduation studies in Engineering\, Computer application\, Management\, Law\, Biotechnology\, Medicine\, Dentistry\, Nursing\, Fashion Technology\, Mass Media Studies\, Language etc. KIIT stand out as a class of its own both in quality and quantity. It has been adjudged as an Institute of Eminence in 2019 by MHRD GoI. Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS)\, a sister institute of KIIT provides free education in a residential setting to 30000 tribal children from KG to PG is also a Deemed to be University and has obtained recognition and appreciation world-wide including the UN. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDepartment Of Mathematics \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Department was started along with the inception of KIIT and now it is a division under the School of Applied Sciences. Besides teaching and supervising the PhD scholars\, the faculty members are engaged with research works in their respective areas of specializations in Pure\, Applied\, Computational and Industrial Mathematics. The Department also has a few research projects funded by the agencies like DST\, NBHM\, UGC and CSIR. DESCRIPTION:The National Education Policy 2020 envisions a contemporary education system that foresees to contribute directly to transform our nation sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society\, by providing high quality education to all. This Policy envisages creation\, transmission\, use and dissemination of knowledge as a part of the continuum. The NEP is ambitious and futuristic but much of its success will depend on how it is executed. There is a need to create awareness about NEP amongst teachers\, students\, officials\, and other stakeholders in the higher education system so that we can together help India in becoming a knowledge superpower. To enhance the moral\, ethics\, and quality of education we as academic leaders are committed to provide constant guidance to our academic fraternity and inspire them to join hands for making this NEP a grand success. Therefore by adopting ICT for next generation as socially responsible leaders we hereby abide to the UGC Quality Mandate for improving the quality in Higher Education Institutions and therefore under the UGC guidance further are organizing an Online Conference for spreading awareness regarding NEP 2020 referring to point 5 of the notification.
