Conclave on Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)
The Mission LiFE initiative is a visionary program aimed at promoting sustainable lifestyles to address global environmental challenges. It focuses on individual and
collective actions that prioritize eco-friendly practices, reduce carbon footprints, and foster harmony with nature. By encouraging responsible consumption, efficient
resource management, and greener alternatives, Mission LiFE seeks to integrate sustainability into everyday life. “Adopting LiFE” empowers citizens, communities, and industries to lead environmentally conscious lives, while “Implementing LiFE” integrates sustainable practices into governance, policymaking, and business operations. Together, these efforts aim to build a resilient society capable of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mission LiFE addresses key sectors such as agriculture, energy, water management, and waste reduction, envisioning a future where eco-friendly lifestyles promote
environmental, economic, and societal well-being. By leveraging traditional wisdom, modern innovations, and community-driven initiatives, India can lead the global movement for sustainability.
To advance this mission, we are organizing a conclave with the goal of educating stakeholders about Mission LiFE’s impact on sustainable development, fostering
knowledge-sharing among environmentalists, policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society, and refining policy frameworks to support sustainable practices aligned with the SDGs. The conclave will also showcase successful models and technologies exemplifying sustainable living, create opportunities for collaboration and partnerships, and inspire action to expand the Mission LiFE ecosystem. Let us unite to redefine lifestyles and champion sustainability through collective
efforts for a greener, healthier, and more equitable world.
