Anurag K Kyal and Subham Debnath, students of School of Biotechnology, KIIT University were awarded the Top Innovators Gold Medal at the Prestigious DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Programme 2013 from Shri Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Hon’ble Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of India at a glittering function held in New Delhi.
They were awarded as the top innovators for developing a technology on producing high quality paper from weeds of different kinds. They completed the project under the mentorship of Dr. Vishakha Raina, Associate Professor, School of Biotechnology.
