Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary is being celebrated by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India in the spirit of gratitude and inspiration to his contribution to humanity for promoting and practicing the basic human values such as Non-violence, Nature Cure, Sanitation and Health etc.  To mark the occasion Ministry of AYUSH is conducting 150 Nisargopchar Mahotsav across the country. In Odisha the programme is going to be held at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. The theme of the Nisargopchar Mahotsav is ‘Self Reliance through Self Health Reliance”, a quote of Mahatma Gandhiji.

This Mahotsav is meant for the general public awareness and will be attended by Yoga and Naturopathy students, physicians, academicians and all naturopathy enthusiasts. The event shall host a multimedia relay/ screening  on Mahatma Gandhi and posters on Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution to the system of Nature Cure for the entire day of the camp. Parallel sessions for the public will be conducted by Naturopaths and eminent Gandhians from the locality to emphasise the importance of the Gandhian principle, ‘Self Reliance through self health Reliance’, the theme of the Mega Naturopathy Camp.
