About the Event
KIIT Deemed to be University is set to host the prestigious FIVB Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge 2026 from 4th to 8th March 2026 at the KIIT–KISS Athletics Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
This internationally sanctioned championship, organised under the aegis of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) and Volleyball World, will bring together elite beach volleyball athletes from across the globe. Notably, this will be the first time in India that a Beach Volleyball World Championship is being hosted inside a university campus.
The event marks a significant milestone in India’s growing presence in international sports and reinforces KIIT’s commitment to promoting world-class sporting excellence.

Competition Format
The championship will be conducted in multiple stages:
- Qualification Tournament
- Main Draw – Pool Play
- Round of 16
- Quarter Finals
- Semi Finals
- Bronze Medal Matches
- Gold Medal Finals & Award Ceremony
- The Finals will be held on 8 March 2026.
