Defence Personnel Fee Waiver & Scholarship Scheme

Supporting the families of India’s Defence Forces through quality education at KIIT.

For wards of defence personnel The scheme is applicable for eligible wards of serving, retired, disabled or deceased personnel of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and Indian Coast Guard.

Eligibility

Wards of serving, retired, disabled or deceased personnel of:

Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force
Indian Coast Guard

Scholarship Benefits

Applicable for wards of personnel from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and Indian Coast Guard.

Special Category

100% Fee Waiver for Veergati / Died in Harness cases. Applicable to all programs except Medical & Dental Programs.

Engineering & Other Programs

  • B.Tech CSE & Allied Programs (4 Seats) 50% Fee Waiver
  • All Other Programs 50% Fee Waiver

Medical Programs Limited Seats

  • MBBS (2 Seats) 10% Fee Waiver
  • BDS (5 Seats) 10% Fee Waiver
  • B.Sc Nursing (5 Seats) 10% Fee Waiver

Continuation Criteria

For continuation of the Fee Waiver in subsequent academic years, students must maintain:

CGPA ≥ 8.5 Minimum academic performance requirement
Attendance ≥ 75% Minimum attendance requirement
