Pushing KIIT to attain global benchmarks, KIIT signed Memorandum of Understanding with three Universities in United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland – Sheffield Hallam University, Kingston University, Lancaster University.

1) Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The MoU was signed by Prof Sasmita Samanta – Registrar, KIIT University and Prof Roger Eccleston, Pro VC, Sheffield Hallam University. James Richardson, Global Engagement Director and Prof Terrence Perera, Head of International Partnerships and Development at Sheffield Hallam University were present during the session.

 

2) Kingston University London

KIIT signed MoUs with Universities in United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The MoU was signed by Prof Sasmita Samanta – Registrar, KIIT University and Ron Tuninga, Pro Vice-Chancellor International, Kingston University London at a function in Kingston upon Thames. Also present at the signing were Tawnya Cheatheam, Regional Manager and Joan Anton Carbonell, Manager from Kingston University.

3) Lancaster University, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Prof Steve Bradley, Pro-Vice Chancellor, International, Lancaster University, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Prof Sasmita Samanta signed the MoU.

All the MoU’s were facilitated by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (The IET) as part of the Academic Partner Collaboration. It will enable both universities for student, faculty exchanges, joint research and dual degree programmes. MoU. Raghavan S, Regional Head, IET India and Deans of KIIT were present during all the MoU signing sessions.

As a global centre for excellence, KIIT has collaborated with leading institutions and organizations from across the world. At present KIIT has academic tie-ups with over 170 international universities and institutions and industrial collaboration with over 50 corporate houses. Academic collaborations have led to joint programme delivery and faculty and student exchange.
