Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Deemed to be University, had achieved a record percentage of placement for undergraduates and graduates students in the academic year 2021-22. The review on employment rate had been conducted after the 6 months of graduation of the students. The review had been performed by collecting the data on employability and higher studies through alumni virtual meets, interactions by Training and Placement Cells, Industry Meets, social media groups and general online survey conducted by the KIIT Alumni Association. The respondents were undergraduates and graduates students from different programs offered by the University.

After the comprehensive review done for 2022 graduating batch, the percentage of graduates opting for jobs and higher studies are tabulated as follows.

After the survey, it has been observed that most of the undergraduate and graduate students of the last academic year are continuing with their job, while some percentage of students are pursuing higher studies.
