KIIT School of Language & Literature

Overview

Established in 2007, School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University ministers to the University-wide needs of English and foreign language learning of students. It provides short-term value addition and skill development courses in Communication Skills, Personality Development, Public Speaking, Business Communication, and Spoken English. Besides providing translation services, it also offers training, of foundational nature, in major European and Asian languages. In the Academic Year of 2020-2021, it started Degree Programme in English–B. A. (Honours) and M. A. in English.

Vision

To promote research, study and awareness of different cultures and languages for development of globally acknowledged skill-sets and perspective among people thereby facilitating cultural inclusiveness, socio-economic growth and harmony worldwide.

The Mission

  • To impart academic and short-term courses on the widely spoken and globally acclaimed foreign & Indian languages to hone the cultural and professional acumen of the people worldwide.

  • To familiarize students with the socio-cultural heritage of respective countries for promotion of mutual understanding and collaborations through various cultural activities strengthening people-to-people contact.

  • To organize B2B events & orientation of companies from respective countries as well as leading Indian MNCs with the language students of KIIT School of Languages for recruitments, resource management & commercial collaborations.
